A Very Narrow Aisle truck has been designed to operate in indoor facilities to effectively work within tight aisles to load and unload pallets. There are two types of Very Narrow Aisle trucks Man up and Man Down. With the Man Up the operator moves up/down with the forks, whilst Man Down the operator stays grounded whilst the forks move up/down to load and unload.
The set up of this course is split into the three areas which are the Theory, Pre-Inspection and Practical. During the theory our instructors goes through the key relevant Health & Safety legislations, and the specific information regarding safety operation of the Very Narrow Aisle truck. Pre-Inspection of the Very Narrow Aisle truck helps delegates to identify the importance of carrying out checks before operating the truck, and the importance of reporting defects. And finally, the practical element focus is on practicing to operate the truck safely and correctly accordingly to what the task is.
