Fire Risk Assessment training would be suitable for supervisory staff, nominated emergency response personnel or anyone who needs an appreciation of the role of Fire Safety Person. Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 it is required by employers to have a nominated competent person who has the responsibility of the Fire Safety Management.
This short course will enable delegates to feel competent and confident in completing fire risk assessments to ensure the safety of your workforce and premises.
Topics covered during course:
- Provide delegates with the knowledge and skills enabling them to fulfil the role of ‘competent person’ and conduct a Fire Risk Assessment for a ‘low/medium’ risk workplace.
- Enable delegates to understand the basic principles of fire safety.
- To enable delegates to conduct, record and produce a ‘suitable & sufficient’ Fire Risk Assessment .
- Understand the Responsible Person’s duties and overall responsibilities.
Our Fire Safety trainers all come from different backgrounds such as Professional Medic, Ex-Military, Mountain Rescue, Industry and are very educated with certificates in NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid etc. With their knowledge and experience in this field they are able to share their experienced into the delivery of the course and give valuable advice of the do’s and don’ts.
Successful completion of this course delegates are provided with a Fire Risk Assessment certificate. After this course delegates have the option to build their H&S knowledge by booking themselves onto the IOSH Managing Safely course.
