PAT Testing Course
PAT Testing Course, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 places responsibility on employers with regard to electrical safety. About a quarter of all reportable electrical accidents involve portable apparatus. The majority are caused by electric shock but faulty electrical equipment also causes many work place fires.
This course deals with the specifics of The Electricity at Work Regulations and in-house inspection and testing of electrical equipment as detailed in the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Code of Practice.
Successful completion of the course will meet the requirements of a Level 1 tester under the IEE Code of Practice.
