Pitch served in the Royal Army Medical Corps for over 20 years before transitioning into training, driven by his passion for sharing the skills and knowledge he acquired from his extensive experience. He joined PLT in August 2011 as a Trainer and specializes in a wide range of areas, including:

• Lift Truck (Counterbalance, Reach, PPS/PPT, VNA, Order Picker, Pivot Steer, Side Loader, Telescopic Handler)
• Work Equipment (MEWP, Abrasive Wheels, Overhead Crane, Lorry Mounted Crane)
• First Aid
• Health & Safety (Fire Marshal, Manual Handling, IOSH, NEBOSH, Banksman)
• Plant Machinery (360 Excavator, Forward/Rear Dumper Trucks, Skid Steers, Loading Shovel)
• Other (LOLER Inspector)

Gordon holds various certifications ranging from the NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH to Plant Machinery. His extensive knowledge and qualifications enable him to excel as a versatile instructor across all training areas. He delivers training through various accreditation partners such as Qualsafe, RTITB, ITSSAR, IOSH, NEBOSH, and NPORS.

In his spare time, Pitch enjoys a diverse range of activities, including walking, camping, motorbiking, charity work with the Royal British Legion Riders Branch, exploring computers, and reading.
